Reflection of group work.
Our entire group did their homework. What comes down to is
that all of us discovered that majority of the construction work is built on
home problems. And there are a lot of problems in the house ranging from loosen
doors to falling paint in their house. Although this is not something we are supposed
to do. However, fixing things and remodeling might help us brand our designing
services.
Problems are always starting cost. Construction company is a
very high margin business, where it requires a lot of investment. I’m afraid
that we are not able to start this kind of services because of lack of
investment in the beginning. Maybe we should try an online construction service
but for sure starting from scratch is a very difficult process.
Journal.
User journey is actually a very difficult subject.
Normally as a developer we just keep thinking about creating DOING DOING DOING, but rather than putting our foot in other people's shoes.
After I start putting my foot into other people's shoes, then is when I realized. WOW my work is actually
more complicated and difficult to navigate than other services.
However, after reviewing and looking at extreme details of the user experience.
I realized I can slowly see the emotions and the feelings coming up, also every decision gap.
It was hard, me and Lama had to figure it out for a long. But we did it.

4. Extend and retain- Spoke to real person, email back and forth about our quality of service and wonderful pricing. Our company fixed and renovate the sink
5. Advocate- Facebook Twitter on our service of next door neighbor

Pain point is always competition. This industry is an over
saturated market, starting a business here will be extremely intense; it’s
something everyone wants to do. We must find a way to help our architecture
students practice their skills while able to stay profitable.
How might we expand our services and produce the right
product that people want?
Starting online is definitely the option to go. I cannot
imagine a way how we can physically start this business only we start using
online tools to spread our service, people can began to notice.
How might we change our services?
We can change our services base on a more teenage and young
group. Some young people want to renovate their theater or party houses. That
is a much smaller project and we are much likely being able to connect on and
handle it.
How might we elevate our competition and distinguish ourselves.
We can distinguish ourselves by finding our market niche.
Find our market niche is always the key to drive away competition. Right now,
we are not able to find any market niche in this industry, however, we think
online services might be an option.
Good analysis Sunny! Yes, it's a tough job trying to start any business. Good to find out in this way, without a lot of expense, than otherwise, right?
ReplyDeleteInteresting approach - online construction company. I'm looking forward to hearing more.
